Book launch: The Miscreants

We are so excited to be launching The Miscreants both in person in Melbourne, and online.

In these uncertain times planning an in-person book launch is an act of faith and hope. The Miscreants has been a long time in the works for Glimmer Press – it was due to be launched last year, but, yeah. COVID. So, we are pushing on now and cannot wait to share this incredible debut novel with you all!

The Melbourne launch will be held at Buck Mulligan’s in Northcote, Melbourne on Sunday 23 May. You can find details on our Facebook event page. Please RSVP so that we can manage numbers and meet COVID-safe requirements.

The online launch will be held on Sunday 30 May and will be livestreamed on Facebook and the Glimmer Press YouTube channel. Author Christopher Hawkes will be doing a Q&A session , so we’d love to hear from you if there’s something you’d like to ask him.

Cameron Raynes, author of First Person Shooter, will launch at both events and I for one am excited to hear what he has to say about The Miscreants. Cameron’s launch speech for his own novel is still my favourite book launch speech of all time, so he’s set the bar pretty high. No pressure, Cam!
